About the Artist
Ender Balkır
10 Şubat 1977 de Tunceli’nin Mazgirt ilçesinde doğdu. Adıyla birlikte kulağına türküler fısıldandı. Önce tahtadan yaptığı sazıyla türküler söyledi. Her ne kadar gönlünde konservatuar olsa da 19 Mayıs Üniversitesi Matematik Bölümü’nde eğitimine başladı. Üniversite yıllarında müzik mesaisine hiç ara vermedi.Matematik eğitimin ardından İstanbul’a atanan Ender Balkır 2001-2004 yılları arasında matematik öğretmenliği yaptı. Müzik tutkusu ağır basan yorumcu görevinden istifa ederek profesyonel olarak müzikle ilgilenmeye başladı. Birçok konser, radyo-tv programı ve seçkin mekânlarda kazandığı sahne deneyiminin ardından 2007 yılında ilk albümü “Ezim Ezim” i çıkardı.Ender Balkır, söylediği türkülerle Türkiye’nin önemli dizilerinin sesi oldu. “Hanımın Çiftliği, Dila Hanım, Ustura Kemal, Düriye’nin Güğümleri, Öyle Bir Geçer Zamanki, Poyraz Karayel” dizilerinde söylediği türküler, hikâyeleri daha dokunaklı kıldı. Sesi, dizi severlerin yüreğinde sahneleri bütünleyen bir enstrümana dönüştü.Yorumcu, Türkiye’nin dört yanından sevilen türküleri seslendirdiği albümü “Ahir” ve Harput türkülerinden oluşan ve Kalan müzik etiketiyle çıkan ”HARPUT” albümü ile müzik yolculuğunun sonsuz olmasını ümit ediyor.Çukur Dizisinde seslendirdiği “Ruhumda Sızı” türküsüyle herkesin gönlümde taht kurdu ve uzun süre müzik listelerinin enlerinde yer aldı.
