Cümbüş Cemaat
Cümbüş Cemaat, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi’nin “Taş Oda” müzik geleneğinden doğan ve geleneksel Anadolu ezgilerini modern dokunuşlarla yorumlayan kolektif bir müzik topluluğudur. Grup; ud, klarnet, gitar, darbuka/tef gibi enstrümanlarla — klasik formüllere bağlı kalmadan — “doğaçlama + kolektif yaratım + sokak ruhu” üçlüsünü birleştiriyor. 2017’de ünlü yönetmen-senarist Tony Gatlif’in filmi Djam’ın müziklerinde yer aldılar ve filmin dünya prömiyerinden önce sahne alarak uluslararası arenada da görünürlük kazandılar. 2020’de, farklı tatları bir araya getirdikleri “İstanbul” adlı albümlerini yayımladılar; 2023’te ise bağımsız olarak “Mumya” adlı teklileriyle dinleyiciyle buluştular. Cümbüş Cemaat’in sahne performansları; enerjik, coşkulu ve doğaçlama ruhlu — hem geçmişin melodilerini taşıyan hem de güncel dinleyiciye hitap eden bir müzik yolculuğu sunuyor. Bu yönüyle kolektif; hem etnik/fusion müzik sevenlere, hem deneysel/alternatif arayan müzik dinleyicilerine hitap eden güçlü bir seçenek.
