Scorpions, 1965 yılında gitarist Rudolf Schenker tarafından Almanya'nın Hannover şehrinde kurulmuş bir Alman heavy metal grubudur. Grubun kuruluşundan bu yana müzik tarzı hard rock ile heavy metal arasında gidip gelmiştir. Grubun kariyeri boyunca kadrosunda birçok değişiklik gerçekleşmesi ve Klaus Meine'nin grubun tüm stüdyo albümlerinde vokal olarak yer almasına rağmen Rudolf Schenker grubun tek sabit elemanıdır. "Rock You Like a Hurricane", "No One Like You", "Send Me an Angel", "Still Loving You" ve "Wind of Change" gibi hit şarkılara imza attıkları 1982-1990 yılları arası grubun kariyerinin en başarılı dönemi olarak bilinmekte. Scorpions, 45 yıllık sahne hayatının ardından 2010'da çıkardıkları Sting in the Tail adlı albümleri ile birlikte gerçekleştirdikleri veda turnesinin ile emekliliğe ayrılacağını açıklamasına rağmen bu karardan daha sonra vazgeçildi. 2015'te 50. yılını kutlayan Scorpions, dünya çapında 110 milyondan fazla albüm satmıştır.
