About the Artist
Ali Poyrazoğlu
9 Temmuz 1946 doğumlu Ali Poyrazoğlu, sinema ve tiyatro oyuncusu, yazarı ve yönetmenidir. Oyunculuk kariyerine İstanbul Şehir Tiyatroları'nda başlayan ve sayısız tiyatroda yer alan Poyrazoğlu, 1972 yılında Poyrazoğlu Tiyatrosu'nu kurdu. 80'li yıllarda çeşitli müzikallere imza atan başarılı oyuncu Adile Naşit, Yıldız Kenter, Zeki Müren, Müjdat Gezen, Ferdi Özbeğen, Sezen Aksu, Rasim Öztekin gibi dev isimlerle aynı sahneyi paylaştı.Tiyatro ve müzikal faaliyetlerinin yanında 70'li yıllarda adım attığı sinema kariyerinde de büyük işlere imza atan Poyrazoğlu; 2022 yılında 60.sanat yılının yanında kendi adını taşıyan tiyatrosunun da 50. yılını kutladı. Bizet’nin Carmen’ine duyduğu yakın ilgiyi 10 yıl önce yine İstanbul Tiyatro Festivali için yarattığı ve tiyatroseverlerin büyük ilgisiyle yıllarca sürdürdüğü Asi Kuş’tan bildiğimiz Poyrazoğlu, yepyeni projeleri ile seyircisiyle buluşmaya devam ediyor.
