About the Artist
Rojda Şenses
Rojda Şenses, diğer adıyla Kadriye Şenses, 1978 yılında Siirt'in Kurtalan ilçesinde doğdu. Kürt pop şarkıcısı ve söz yazarı olan Rojda, müzik başarısına erken yaşlarda başladı. İlkokulu tamamladıktan hemen sonra 1991 senesi İstanbul'a gelerek müzik kariyerine adım attı. Kardeşi Çiya ile beraber yerel müzik gruplarında şarkı söyleyerek hayatına devam etti ve Koma Gulên Xerzan grubuyla çalıştı. 1993'ten itibaren Mezopotamya Kültür Merkezi ile işbirliği gerçekleştirdi. 1997’ de 11 kişilik bir grup olan Koma Asmîn ile beraber albümlerine devam ederek müzik piyasasına adım attı.Rojda Şenses, şarkılarında Karapetê Xaço, Meyremxan, Ayşe Şan ve Merzîye Rezazî gibi ünlü Kürt şarkıcılardan esinlendi. Bu sanatçılar, onun müzikal başarısını ve tarzını ortaya koyarak büyük rol aldı.
