About the Artist
Doğan Duru
Üniversite öğrencisi iken kardeşi Güneş Duru ile kurdukları Invictus Band grubu ile uzun süre İstanbul'da çeşitli mekanlarda konserler verdi. 1996 yılında Berke Hatipoğlu ile Ten grubunu kurdu. Daha sonra, gruba Güneş Duru ve İlke Hatipoğlu'nun katılmasıyla grup çekirdek kadrosunu oluşturdu. Bu grupla 2002 yılına kadar İstanbul'da çeşitli barlarda sahne aldılar. Ten grubu, adını Redd olarak değiştirerek 2000-2004 yıllarında albüm için çalışmalara başladı.Doğan Duru 1993-2000 yıllarında, İstanbul Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı Opera Bölümü'nde lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimlerini tamamladı. Bu dönemlerde İtalya'dan gelen özel bir davet üzerine Milano'ya gitti ve opera eğitimini burada devam ettirdi. Scuola Musicale Di Milano'da bulunan, Scala Operası'ndan Carlos Del Bosco'la birlikte opera çalışmalarına devam etti. 2001 yılında Ripatransone Workshop çalışmalarına, konuk sanatçı olarak davet edildi ve bu orkestra ile İtalya'nın güney bölgesinde verdikleri konserlerde solist olarak Puccini aryalarını seslendirdi. 2002 yılında, İtalyan hükûmeti tarafından, özel yetenekli öğrencilere İtalyan hükûmeti tarafından verilen sanat bursuna hak kazandı. Guisseppe Verdi Konservatuvarı'nda opera ile ilgili araştırmalarını ve çalışmalarını sürdürdü. Bu dönemlerde Milano'da şan resiltalleri ve konserler verdi.
